About This Event

A Place to Land is an Americana duo from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. These two yoopers deliver a dynamic show featuring a diverse repertoire that includes classic country like King of the Road and Folsom Prison, ’70s soft rock hits such as Peaceful Easy Feeling, Tequila Sunrise, and Fire on the Mountain, as well as humorous songs like Copenhagen, Hope I’m Stoned, and the John Prine love song In Spite Of Ourselves, showcasing their wide musical range.
Telling stories of the road, this couple has worked as work campers and hosts, shuttled hikers, and run a hostel engaging with the crowd, which is like talking to family.
This new, engaging show with sing-alongs to Leroy Brown, Margaritaville, Country Roads, and Back Home Again, Brian and Rebecca deliver. With Brian playing multiple instruments, guitar, mandolin, and banjo, and Rebecca on the stand up bass, creating new versions of classic tunes, Honkey Tonk Woman on the Banjo is a perfect example.
